It happened while moose hunting in Alaska, forever etched into my memory. I had often given thought to what would happen, if say, just as we topped one of the many hills of the terrain, we happened upon one of the massive bears, known to thrive in the pristine elements found here.
Sure enough, just as we topped the hill, to where we could see over the other side, she was there, facing towards us. The hunters had become the hunted.
Having smelled us, long before we had seen her, the thousand pound female was determined to protect her two cubs, she had stashed nearby. We froze. She reared up, towering a full four feet over both of our six- foot frames.
She was not happy, we had encroached upon her domain, and she was intent on doing something about it. She began lumbering forward, only ten yards away. Her deafening bellow caused the hair on both of our necks to stand straight up.
Instinctively, my friend raised the powerful rifle, putting the scope sight between her eyes. I stopped him. It is never a good idea to shoot a bear, unless you are an expert trained bear hunter, and even so, shots made to the heart or brain do not always stop them in time.
I tapped my can of Guard Alaska bear spray. Are you willing to bet your life that it will work, he asked? I am. The LAST thing we needed, was a ticked off, wounded mother bear! At this range, at full charge, one would not have time to place several shots into the bear.
If it turned slightly, just as the trigger went off, it would only serve to anger the bear, intensifying the attack. Bears this size have killed men even after, being shot seven or eight times. I did not want to become yet another statistic.
Instead of dropping to the ground, and charging full tilt, the giant bear continued its walk towards us. I could smell its putrid breath with every roar. When it got to eighteen feet, I decided to act. I told my friend, wait until I am finished using the spray, then fire once into the air.
I pressed the nozzle of Guard Alaska, amazed to see that it would have easily reached past twenty feet. A powerful blast of spray caught her full in the eyes and nose. She stopped. He raised the rifle to fire into the air, when I shook my head no. Let’s see what she does.
She started sneezing, and pawing at her face and nose, then turned, dropped to the ground, and ambled off. We looked at each other in amazement. That must be some mighty powerful stuff! Still shaking with fear and excitement, we got the dickens out of her territory. No moose today!
We decided then and there, we were not going back, until we both had a can of this life saving animal repellant.

PIT - STOP
While walking with my five-year old son to the corner ice cream shop, I suddenly heard a low growl. Upon turning around, we saw a huge pit bull quickly approaching. My son screamed, and this served to only increase the dog’s aggression.
In an instant, I pulled from my pocket my Mace Muzzle K-9 repellant. He had gone from a determined trot, to a full charge, and was going straight for my son. I stepped in front of the boy, and let the dog get within 8 feet. I fired off a blast, hitting him full in the face.
The dog had already begun to leap, so I hit him again with it, as I stepped aside. In a flash, the canine transformed into a whimpering coward, running away howling, sneezing and pawing at its face. I shudder to think, what might have happened, had I not had an animal repellant strong enough to work quickly and efficiently.

Super Dog Chaser - Can Help
Save Your Pets Life!
Ultra-high Frequency
After having buried our last indoor pet, I was determined not to repeat the same event, with our new pup. For even an indoor pet, has to go outside sometimes. Having gotten my Super Dog Chaser, whenever I let him outdoors, I held the device in my hand.
Every time his wandering sniff carried him too close to the street, I would rap on the door and turn on the device. As soon as he reacted, scooting away from the street, I would switch it off. After repeating this several times, he quickly learned to stay away from the pavement.
Once to my horror, I saw him about 30 feet from the road, raise his head up to see a housecat walking down the street, as I saw he was going to give chase, here came a fast moving car! I quickly grabbed my Super Dog Chaser and turned it on.
As soon as he heard the device, he ground to a full stop, before he reached the roadway. The cat ran across the street, making it across, just before the car passed. Had I not taught him to do this, I would have had to bury yet another beloved friend.
Super Dog Chaser has other benefits as well:
- Helps Stop Approaching Unwanted Dogs
- Ultra-High Frequency (silent to humans)
- Effective To 15 Reet
