Tasers are certainly 100% effective, They have an effective range that is designed to keep you out of harms way. They are more instantly incapacitating than a 9 mm bullet. Excellent lens!

Thank you for this helpful information on personal tasers! Often we hear about how police have tasered someone unnecessarily, or harmed someone with a taser device, and it is good to see the benefits of owning a personal taser. The information you provided takes away the stigma that the media is attaching to taser devices and brings it to reality where I can see myself carrying one.

Well said. I'm a martial artist and have practically lived my whole life learning unarmed combat. I really appreciate how you emphasize the fact that you have to keep your awareness high.

Also, I'm glad you said if it turns physical that you need defense devices. I agree. To add to your article, please tell people it's also important to learn unarmed combat moves. Were talking brutal, "no mercy" type of fighting. Because if someone is willing to hurt you in the first place they deserve no mercy. You have to think about you. Criminals deserve no mercy.

I apologize if this seems violent but I'm sick of hearing innocent people in the news getting hurt, killed, and raped over nothing. Thanks for your great blog. Keep it going. I'd like to keep coming back for more articles.

Excellent information. I believe every female needs at the very least pepper spray or a personal alarm. In our present economic situation having some form of personal protection product is even more important.

Great blog post on simple techniques anyone can use to prevent being a victim of crime. Being aware of your situation is the first place to start. Don't end up in a dark alley by yourself. If anything, try and difuse the situation by talking to them and try to convince them to not hurt you.

If not, blast them with pepper spray you are holding in your hand, then shock the hell out of them with the stun gun in your pocket!
